Renata Tebaldi International Voice Competition 2017

Extended until the 20th June the deadline for submission of entries to the seventh edition of the Renata Tebaldi International Voice Competition.

10 additional days to allow competitors to complete the registration process and formalize the sending of the audio-video material through which, in the first eliminatory, will be evaluated.

The competition from 2013 edition adopts this formula, introduced by Angelo Nicastro, artistic director of the Fondazione Renata Tebaldi: at this first selection will follow two other stages (semifinals and finals) that the young artists are going to dispute in San Marino alternating between the two sections: the first, from 6th to 8th September, is dedicated to the competitors of the Repertoire ancient & baroque; the second, from 7th to 9th is on the opera repertoire from Mozart to the entire twentieth century.

The Renata Tebaldi Competition sees the reconfirmed patronage of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, the appreciation of the international press of the sector and two big names as presidents of the international juries as for the Section Opera, Dominique Meyer, director of the Wiener Staatsoper and for the Ancient & Baroque, Laurent Brunner, director of the Château de Versailles spectacles.

Both the jury presidents, representatives of the highest institutions of two of the most illustrious capitals of European music, will offer a writing/contract to the first classified of the section they presided: given the importance of the prize to be won the organizers considered necessary to give to the talents of tomorrow a few more days to send the documentation.
